A media pro, Niki has gained her experience by working for large non-profit organizations such as Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, Spelman College, and The United Negro College Fund as well as major corporations such as The Home Depot, The CW Network, and The Washington Post.

 

Obtaining her master’s degree in Communication from Trinity College in Washington, D.C., and an alumni of Howard University, Niki currently conducts biannual media relations workshops at the Georgia Center for Nonprofits for PR professionals and was an adjunct professor at Georgia Perimeter College for three years teaching Human Communications, Media Culture & Society, and Public Speaking courses.

 

Past projects include:

• Panelist, F3 Consultants of Color, Race, Gender, and Equality in Consulting

• Developed a marketing and communications plan for the iconic Girl Scouts Cookie Program for Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta

• A panelist for “Women News Anchors,” South Carolina State University

• Produced a news television show, The Inner Loop, for the CW Network, Washington, D.C.

• Planned crisis communications training and seminars for 20 school principals, The Washington Post Distinguished Educational Leadership Award, St. Thomas, USVI

• Produced a video in collaboration with Barbara Walters honoring Katharine Graham (former publisher of The Washington Post) posthumously for her contribution to the newspaper industry; premiered at the American Advertising Federation in New York

 

In addition to owning and operating a public relations firm, Niki is the National Communications Co-Chair for ColorComm. and lives in Atlanta with her husband and three children.
